Is the holiday suitable for beginners?
Skivolution holidays
will be specially suitable as the very best English tuition is included
in the price, I cannot recommend this highly enough. If you choose a
holiday with another tour operator lessons will normally be extra and
booked at the local ski school.
Will there be an opportunity to meet the rest of the group before we
travel?
Yes we can certainly organise a lunch for those who wish.
Do we have to share rooms?
The holiday price is for shared
rooms and i am happy to find someone for you to share with. If you
prefer a single room we try to provied them for a reasonable supplement.
What if I can't keep up with other skiers?
One of the reasons
that we hope to have a large group is to make sure everyone has good
company within their own ability. When you book I can tell you more
about other members of the group & their ski experience.
What does Singlesport get out of the holiday?
Very good
company to ski with! Usually the tour operator gives the tour leader a
free place which helps me to cover the cost of running the Singlesport
web site, advertising etc In return for this I have to undertake to deal
with all the enquiries & administration for the group.
What age group will the party be?
This varies but usually 30
to 60
Is Singlesport a dating agency?
No it isn't. We are simply a
social group bringing together single skiers who enjoy good company and
want to be part of a group. The majority of members will be single but
some will be married people whose partner doesn't ski. Lots of
friendships have been formed & members have gone on to book additional
trips privately with friends they have met through Singlesport. If its
important to you at the time of booking I will be able to tell you how
many men & ladies have booked but this will obviously vary as the
bookings come in & hopefully you will help by inviting your friends to
join us.
How can we help invite more skiers?
Please invite anyone you
know or put a note on your local notice board at the gym or dry ski
slope.
Can children come?
In school holiday times members might bring
children but it will not always be appropriate. I will be happy to
advise on each holiday.
Can couples come as part of the party?
Yes. If you often
travel with a group that includes couples please invite them. If you
book as a single & between now & then meet a new partner you wish to
include that's fine too.
What if something goes wrong?
Please
remember that Singlesport is not a travel agent. I am simply inviting
you to join a party but your contract will be with the tour operator &
so please do familiarise yourself with all their terms & conditions in
their brochure.
Will there be golf/tennis/sailing/beach holidays?
In due
course yes there will be but there’s a limit to the time I can be away
as leader & my expertise & so if you are interested in leading a holiday
in your particular sport please let me know.
