Single and Shared Rooms for Solo Skiers and Boarders – Club Med La Rosiere Sunday 14th January 2024 for 7 nights

This beautiful new luxury Club Med resort is at 1900 metres with the domain peak at 2800m known as “The Balcony of the Tarentaiseski”. There are runs for everyone 8 green, 28 blue, 33 red and 14 black.

Activities include walking, hiking and yoga as well as Skiing, snowboarding at every level. There is a gym, indoor & outdoor pool as well as a spa.

We are delighted to offer both single and shared rooms on this holiday, which has been specifically tailored for single and solo skiers. If you do not smoke or snore, I will try to find you a sharer if you wish. Our rooms are “Superior with balcony” or Delux for an additional charge.

We usually have at least 50 or 60 guests ensuring plenty of good company and opportunity to meet like-minded ski and board buddies at every level.

All meals, snacks & drinks are included and so there are no lunches or bar bills to pay for.

Morning & afternoon lessons/guiding returning for lunch Monday to Friday for skiers & boarders of all abilities, beginners right through to expert and the lift pass is included Monday to Saturday.

These prices are for the beautiful Superior rooms with balcony 23-28 M. We can also offer the larger Delux rooms for an additional cost. Please apply for prices if you wish to upgrade

Deposit of £150 is required to confirm a place and balance at least 90 days before departure. All payments will go direct to Club Med using a credit card link once your booking details have been confirmed. 

As your payment is made direct to Club Med you are protected by their guarantees and their terms and conditions as well as that afforded by their ABTA membership.

Flights, Trains and Transfers

Club Med offer a charter flight from Gatwick to Grenoble. Guests choosing this option will have ATOL protection as well as ABTA.

20K luggage is included on the charter flight and one ski bag up to 18K.

You can also choose to buy your own flight or train to coincide with our transfer buses. One from Geneva & one from Grenoble in addition to the charter bus.

Your flight must be scheduled to land before 13.30 in Geneva and your return flight must be scheduled to depart after 13.00 The bus will arrive at the airport 2 hours before to allow for check in.

Your flight must be scheduled to land by 11.00 in Grenoble and your return flight must be scheduled to depart after 09.50. The bus will arrive at the airport 2 hours before to allow for check in. There will be a 2nd Grenoble bus catering for the Charter flight.

Equipment hire

The Club Med hire department is in house & so it’s super easy to collect your equipment, or change it if necessary.. Orders placed in advance are significantly  cheaper than on arrival. The sport category is suitable for beginners & low intermediate skiers/boarders but more experienced guests will appreciate the performance category. You will be invited to choose your equipment during the sign up process but it will not be charged until the balance is due.

Passport Check/Insurance

It is your responsibility to check both the issue and expiry date of your passport to be sure it is

You must have winter sports travel insurance and also EHIC/GHIC which is free https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-

You can add Club Med  insurance to your lift pass for about €22 on arrival. Be ready to show proof of purchase on your phone if it should be needed.

As a solo traveller it is also wise to note your next of kin in the back of your passport and carry a copy along with your insurance details in your ski jacket.
