There is no other ski area like this! A place where you can set off every day in a different direction for a different destination.
Super food, super apres ski and super pistes. New trips to Ortisei, Canazei, the Marmolada glacier, Passo Pordoi and Campitello along with some of the old favourites
The Marmolada Ski Area is one the most beautiful ski area in the Dolomites. From the 3265 m altitude, you can ski down over 1800 m along the 12 km “La Bellunese” run, one of the finest slopes in the Alps.
Going up in the cable car to an altitude of 3,000 m is an experience you will remember for the rest of your days. By no means do we exaggerate when we say that Sass Pordoi offers one of the most spectacular panoramas in the Alps.
As well as being able to admire the whole of the Fassa Valley from above, it is also easy to recognise the shapes of the various mountain groups of the Dolomites: Sella, Pordoi, Sassolungo, Catinaccio, Monzoni, and Marmolada as well as the Dolomite mountain groups in Val Gardena and Val Badia.
Our Sella Ronda holiday has become very popular in recent years and so we are returning again with our two fully qualified instructors Dave & Alessandro organising our guiding on 5 days (free ski day usually Wednesday). They plan the route each day to give us the best possible experience to enjoy all that the area has to offer (Including the restaurants) As there will be at least 2 guides we can offer a choice of speed but as a minimum guests must be able to ski all day including some red runs at a good pace stopping only for a coffee & lunch. There will be no formal teaching drills in this week but those who wish can ask the guides for tips as they ski and should therefore finish the week having had the best of both worlds, improving their skiing without going to lessons! The hotel in Colfosco is ski in ski out & offers half board.
